Luckily, that’s in the section the game does allow you to play on your own, without leading your by the hand. Checkpoints were placed willy-nilly and screw you if you happened to pass the wrong one, because in some form of omniscient behavior, you were supposed to know what would happen next or get instantly killed. Configurations were barely adaptable and workarounds in forums filled with people experiencing errors didn’t seem to change a thing, but that’s only the start of technical issues. Silly me to expect that the PC version of a PC-centric game would be the prime choice, as it seemed to be the worst of all. It’s as if the developers didn’t know what they were doing at all. Man, Metro: Last Light is a terrible game.
